BotPhone exists because I watched great businesses lose customers to a ringing phone nobody answered.
I spent years in high-volume sales — handling 30 to 60 inbound calls a day at a moving company where the phone never stopped. I knew better than anyone how many leads were slipping through. A missed call at 7pm meant a customer who called the next guy on the list. We were leaving real money on the table, every single day.
When our team started implementing AI into our call and follow-up workflows, something clicked. I saw a contact rate jump from around 30% to over 70% almost immediately. Leads that used to go cold were getting touched. Jobs that used to disappear were getting booked. The technology wasn't just impressive — it was the kind of thing that genuinely changes how a business operates.
That's when I knew I wanted to build something around it.
Most small business owners don't have an operations team, a dev shop, or an IT department. They have a phone, a schedule, and not enough hours in the day. BotPhone is what I wish existed for every business owner I watched struggle with the same problem — a done-for-you AI answering service that just works, so you can focus on the job, not the phone.
I'm Garrick Bridges, based in Overland Park, Kansas. Before BotPhone, I was a top-performing sales rep closing $150,000–$200,000 in revenue per month, building internal AI tools for my team on the side, and learning everything I could about how AI actually works in a real business environment — not in theory, but on live calls with real customers.
I also have a background in IT support and full-stack software development. I built BotPhone's platform from the ground up — the infrastructure, the voice stack, the integrations. When you work with BotPhone, you're not handing your phone calls to a faceless company. You're working with someone who has built, sold, and operated in the same kinds of businesses you're running.
I could have built a software platform and handed you a login. I chose not to.
The businesses BotPhone is built for don't have time to configure AI agents, learn new dashboards, or troubleshoot integrations. They have customers to serve. So we handle everything — the build, the setup, the ongoing management — and you just forward your calls. That's it.
That's the business I wanted to build. And that's what BotPhone is.
